What does the course contain?
The Professional Bookkeeper's Guide to QuickBooks covers virtually everything the QuickBooks program does. If a difficulty level were assigned, we feel this course merits an beginner to intermediate skill rating. As far as the course goes, if the QuickBooks program does it, we teach it.
Do I need to know accounting?
By all means, NO! The course begins with accounting basics, but if you already have some knowledge, the course teaches you faster and easier ways to use that knowledge in QuickBooks.
Do I earn CPE credits?
It is worth 30 CPE credits in most states
How is the course set up?
The Professional Bookkeeper's Guide to QuickBooks training provides 18 hours of instruction to complete, from scratch, the financial books for several small companies.
The Professional Bookkeeper's Guide to QuickBooks is contained on 8 CD-ROMs with more than 12 hours of training. The training is comprised mostly of screen movies of QuickBooks program itself showing you how to actually enter the transactions, create the reports, etc. You see the cursor movements and the transactions as if you were doing them yourself, while listening to Mr. Peterson narrate the process. There are also PowerPoint presentations used to explain some of the more complicated accounting training functions. Users can choose which sections they want to watch, skip, fast forward or replay.
Does the course cover the Mac version?
We don't cover the specifics of the new version 5, but the process of entering the transactions and how the program works are essentially the same. Many Mac users attend our seminars, but often feel slighted seeing the options they are unable to perform on their version.
How long does it take to receive my order?

What are the computer requirements?
To run QuickBooks software you need a Pentium computer (200 Mhz or faster recommended) with 32 MB of RAM, a CD-ROM and Internet access. This is more than sufficient to run the training CDs.
Does the course price include the QuickBooks software?
NO. You will need to purchase the QuickBooks software. You can call us and we will give you a suggestion as to which version you will need for your type of business. The course covers all of the options available in both QuickBooks and QuickBooks Pro.
What if I have a question?
If you have any questions or problems with the training CDs, you will be provided a phone number for over-the-phone support. We also offer free e-mail support for 6 months concerning Quickbooks to all our students.
